STAR WARS
A cinematic music production to accompany a Star Wars trailer whilst retaining and enhancing the vocal and action orientated sound of the visual production.

STUDIO 04 COLLABORATION
In partnership with Studio 04, the accompanying video translates hardware control voltages into high-contrast geometric waveforms. The visual architecture directly reflects the spatial tension and physical weight of the audio signal.
An investigation into the aesthetic value of hardware limitations. By forcing synthesis through degrading physical mediums, the work challenges modern digital perfection and exposes the raw beauty of electronic failure.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
A comprehensive breakdown of the hardware architecture, signal routing, and physical mediums utilized during the recording process of Track 01.

MODULAR VOICE
TAPE SATURATION
Eurorack modular synthesis voices processed through custom low-pass gates. Voltage control dictates both the complex harmonic timber and the dynamic spatial positioning within the stereo field.
Dual magnetic tape loops subjected to physical degradation. Real-time manual tape manipulation generates organic noise floors, transient loss, and unpredictable acoustic artifacts.
128 BPM framework driven by an external solid-state master clock. Rigid hardware sequencing establishes a rhythmic grid that contrasts with drifting tape-head wow and flutter.
